One of my perfected 'non nagging' parenting tricks is to assign titles to our children to support their compliance with our wishes... Eg. 'Director of Travel', worked very well. It was initially given to No.5 at age 11, after she keep us going in the right direction in India - I have absolutely no sense of direction. All can vie for titles but there are enough to go round... 'Perfect Daughter' is another one they yearn for... haha, in a family of 5 daughters, positive, slightly competitive 'titles' can have their uses.
Anyway, after much umming and ahhing and fretting and stressing, and nearly planning an entirely different wedding, they are now getting married next year, on Kos Island, Greece. They had a budget of £5,000 pounds. £1,600 gone on the frock. It is perfect. I have photos, but can't share obviously. She's turned into a real beauty 'as little Miss Sulky Face...
Let's see if she turns into Bridezilla, for a girl with massive Disney desires, especially Cinderella, this could get interesting.
Ps She's also an almost qualified children's nurse, starting on a pediatric ward in the Autumn.
Flights are booked with Jet2.com for 45 guests - friends coming from India and Australia - so now we need a wedding planner in Kos ... any suggestions would be very welcome.
